Human Rights Day has been commemorated annually on the 21st of March in our country. The history that lies behind the significance of the day is the reason why every human being in South Africa is entitled to be treated fairly irrespective of their race, gender, age and religion.
Women are finally coming out from behind male shadows and doing well in gender specified roles. There is progress in ensuring that our rights are being recognised in business as well. No longer are we being cast aside and our voices muted in business, it is now possible for young girls to dream big and fly!
This month makes one realise that there is no time like the present to just live in the moment. It’s time to fulfil plans, go ahead and reach goals that you have set up for yourself. When you wake up and make a promise to yourself, keep it no matter what obstacles you may face during that day.
Stay true to yourself and never let anyone distract you from your goals

Happy Human Rights Month!
