Love At First Sight – Is It A Real Thing?

We all know that first impressions count, but how great is it that you could instantly fall in love with someone from a first encounter? Most of the time we hear of love being some kind of a process, like an obstacle course that one needs to get through to prove its real. Is it really possible to say you love someone from the first time you see them or is this just another figure of speech?

Many people believe that love at first sight is just sexual attraction and strongly feel that it is impossible. There are a lot of things that make a person fall involve and they all come with getting to know someone better. Some may also argue that it is merely wishful thinking and not a real emotion, to begin with.

A lot of people have also claimed to have felt love at first sight, they have described it as an incomprehensible and inexplicable feeling. The argument that it is real goes as far as saying that, when a baby is born, the feeling experienced is love at first sight for most parents. Love at first sight is that instant, gut tingling feeling you feel when you meet a person for the first time and you are overwhelmed with feelings of wanting to know them and how they can be a part of your life. It is also that feeling you don’t want to admit to feeling or can’t express when you feel it because you just know it and can’t admit it.

The argument about love at first sight being real or not is one that could go on forever as both sides do have very valid points. The fantasy behind all of it though is something we all have probably felt or still want to go through at some point in our lives.
